You start by the firm backbone to declutter and organize your home. A general declutter day might be booked or a room by room or area by area approach can be made. Continually check for toys, garments, paper or documents,etc. That you might not need anymore. Children grow beyond garments faster and you could have garments that are out of favor. These can all be donated to the Sally Army or given to the less fortunate in your community. There are things that must be weeded out. Toss or shred documents that you no longer need to keep. Put in a rubbish bag, the garments and toys that aren’t usable anymore.
if you need to declutter and organize, you can choose a theme for your house. It can be a color palette or a motif. After you decide on this, you can take out things that do not go with the theme. A theme can help you choose which items to keep and which ones to store for later use.
‘Clean as you go’ is not just a junk food operations slogan but can be applied to your home too. Everybody in your household must follow this rule. Even small kids can follow this by placing their toys on appointed places once they are done with playing. The slogan can most apply to the kitchen. When you clean right away your work space, organize and store implements and ingredients, you are decluttering and this is a good practice.
